Glisten Belt
This belt is inspired by the accessory from my closet that I've worn most over the last couple of years: my blue tile belt (available for viewing under the portfolio tab). This is a much more upgraded and developed version of the blue tile. I think a unique belt is one of the most underrated accessories; it can take a very plain outfit deep into cool girl territory. This belt was created by layering rectangular forms in a variety of green hues. The central star motif of each of these forms was done using a bright silver metallic pigment. Finally, the silver stars were enunciated with sky blue gestural forms. This belt was created with daily wear and tear in mind; it sits on a worn-out pair of blue jeans like it was made for them. The presence of gold (in the buckle of the belt) and silver across its length is intentional, as it allows for this piece to be worn with both gold and silver jewelry, expanding its already adaptable nature.
The belt is 34 inches in length and 1 inch wide.
The belt is made in the USA using Italian leather and features a rounded buckle. It has been painted using high-quality leather paint that is durable as well as flexible. The paint has been sealed and cured and can be worn for years to come. As this is a one-of-a-kind hand-painted piece that is not mass-produced, it is prone to mild inconsistencies
